It’s no secret Los Angeles is considered one of the best places to be vegan. With a plethora of restaurants in the city, it’s hard to decide what to try next. The city recently started a Vegan Street Fair in October that runs every single Sunday, dubbed Vegan Sunday, which can make that decision super easy, since it brings dozens of vegan vendors to one location on a weekly basis! Stretching across a block of North Hollywood, the event aims to bring veganism to the streets and get people excited about the movement and the plant based lifestyle. Vegan Sunday is scheduled to run every week until February 10, as it leads up to the larger Vegan Street Fair in March.
The vendors at the fair change weekly, but there is a variety of food and cruelty-free goodies
to choose from. I got an amazing t-shirt from Threads for Love as well as some fantastic food

from multiple vendors! My lunch was a bowl of pho and some vegan egg rolls from Srey Vegan, who convinced us to eat with them by offering free egg roll samples as we walked by. We also got a super fancy lemonade in one of the most Instagram-able reusable jars from The Base. Dessert was a brownie ice cream sandwich from Charlie’s Brownies, and we were able to pick up a few assorted desserts from other vendors for my dad and brother. There was also a great selection of vegan Mexican food (including Just Vegana), and multiple places serving vegan mac and cheese. As for the non-food items, other than those cool vegan t-shirts, there were brands selling vegan shoes and candles as well.

You can find an updated vendor list for every single week at veganstreetfair.com/vegansunday.
The event is free to enter every week and there is nearby street and valet parking. Vegan Sunday is located on Bakman Ave in North Hollywood and runs from 10am-4pm.
