Are you ready for the 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade? Are you planning ahead, and trying to figure out where you and your friends/family can eat before hand? Well, you've come to the right place. In this article, every restaurant is vegan and within walking distance from the route of the Hollywood Christmas Parade. I have personally enjoyed some feasts at these places, so I know they're worthy!

Doomie's Home Cookin'
The first obvious option is Doomie's. They are located at 1253 Vine St, about a block or two from the parade route! Doomie's has heavy, filling food, perfect before standing for a while at the parade. A few of our favorites are: Jalapeno Poppers, Garlic Fries, Mac Melt, and Chicken Parm Sub. Talk about some yum!

NextMex
Right next door to Doomie's is #NextMex! An all vegan Mexican restaurant, specializing in the most authentic and delicious traditional dishes. NextMex is owned by Doomie's, and the food is just as good (maybe better)! A few of our favorites here are: Pollo Burrito (wet & chimi style), Carnitas Tacos, and Pollo Quesadilla, but I'm sure whatever you choose, you'll be happy with it!

Veggie Grill
Of course there's always Veggie Grill on Sunset! Being a staple vegan restaurant in Los Angeles, you know you can always find something everyone will like. Veggie Grill even has a menu for your kiddos, so they can get something they'll want to eat. A few favorites at Veggie Grill are: Turkey Dinner Sandwich (if they still have it!), Santa Fe Crispy Chicken sandwich, Lucky Star Burger, and 'Crab' Cake sandwich. Before you go, make sure you download their app to get $5 off your first order of $10 or more! *money saved*

Cocobella Creamery
Just in case you're craving dessert, Cocobella Creamery is an all vegan ice cream shop! It's located in the same complex as Doomie's and NextMex, so it's convenient to the parade route, as well. This place has the best the best vegan ice cream I've tried. A few of the flavors I recommend are: Unicorn Magic, Pumpkin Pie, Coffee Chip, and the Sunny Monkey sundae.
Have fun at the Hollywood Christmas Parade, and if you don't know about the road closures yet, check it out here.
